Down here at No. 10 on Rangakonar Street, things stay pretty busy with all the shops and workshops nearby. This is Kattoor, so you can imagine the sound of machinery and the constant movement of vehicles. At Metal Source, we spend most of our time dealing with various types of metal supplies. It’s not a big office, just a practical space where we can sit and talk to anyone who drops in. Usually, there’s a stack of ledgers on the desk and some metal pieces sitting in the corner. We’ve been at this address for a while and the neighbors know us well. It’s a local spot. We don't spend money on big advertisements or anything like that. People just find us through word of mouth or they walk past while going to another shop on the street. It’s dusty work sometimes. When the weather gets humid, the fans just move the warm air around, but we stay focused on the lists and the inventory. Sometimes a delivery is late because of the traffic on the main road, and we just have to sit and wait it out with a cup of tea. We don't try to be something we aren't. We are just a small group of people working with metal in a very busy part of town. If you need something, you just come by and ask us.
