If you look for Mangla Fashions, you’ll find us at number 66 on Perumal Koil Street. We’ve been at this same spot for quite a long time. The street is familiar to everyone around here. Our workshop is just a regular building where we do all our textile work. We don't have any big corporate goals or fancy mission statements. It’s just about getting the daily orders completed on time. Inside, it’s mostly just sewing machines and rolls of fabric. There’s not much room for anything else. We have a small crew and we all know what we need to do. It’s a very hands-on kind of place. We don't spend money on marketing or polished websites. We just do the work and let that be enough. Perumal Koil Street can be a bit busy during the festival times, but otherwise, it’s a good place for a shop. We deal with all kinds of garments throughout the year. Sometimes things get a bit disorganized when we have too much work, but we eventually sort it out. It’s just the reality of a small business. We don't try to sound like something we aren't. We are just a local place making clothes in our own way. We’ve stuck with this location because it works for us and the people who work here. It’s just a plain, honest workspace where we spend our mornings and evenings.
