Makesh Machine Cutting Works

Our workshop, Makesh Machine Cutting Works, is located at No 219 on Thyagi Kumaran Street. We are right in the Sukwarpet area of Coimbatore, which is a place full of old shops and lots of narrow streets. It is a very busy neighborhood, and parking is always a bit of a nightmare around here. Inside the shop, we have our cutting machines lined up and ready to go. We handle a lot of small and medium-scale machine cutting jobs for different industries around the city. The floor is usually covered in metal chips and there is that smell of cutting oil that never really goes away. I start the day by oiling the machines and checking what needs to be finished from yesterday. It is just me and a couple of workers doing the best we can with the tools we have. We do not have any big signs or fancy lights outside. People just know us because we have been on this street for years. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to sit outside and wait, chatting with the neighbors until it comes back on. It is a simple life of working with machines and metal. We just try to be fair with people and get the work done on time. That is how we run things here in Sukwarpet. We usually have a small tea break around four in the afternoon.
