Out in Coimbatore, specifically in the Ganapathy area, is where Mahee Engg Pvt Ltd is located. We are at 21 Vanjiamman Nagar, near Udayampalayam. The shop floor is usually pretty loud from the start of the day. There is the constant sound of metal and machines running, which is just part of the job. Chinnavedampatti Post is the local area, and most of the people working here live just a short walk or bike ride away. Being an engineering place, things tend to get a bit greasy. We have old overalls hanging on the wall and a big calendar that is usually a few months behind. It is a practical space for practical work. We do not have a fancy showroom for visitors. If you want to see what we are doing, you just walk into the back where all the noise and heat is. The heat in Coimbatore can be quite a lot in the afternoons, so we have a few big industrial fans that mostly just move the warm air around. We have been at this address for many years now. Some of the guys have been with us since the day we opened the doors. We do not have big corporate goals or five-year plans. We just take the orders as they come and try to get them finished on time. It is a lot of hard manual work.
