Madonna Fashions is located at No. 5/11 in Rve Nagar South 1st Street, just off Kangayam Road. It’s a busy part of town, but our street is a little bit tucked away from the heaviest traffic. We’ve been here for some time now. The building is simple, painted a plain color, and fits in with the rest of the neighborhood. Inside, we keep the space organized with the garments we’re working on. There’s usually a lot of thread around and the sound of scissors cutting fabric. We don’t have much in the way of decorations, just the work itself. We start early in the morning, usually before the heat really kicks in. The staff here knows their jobs well, so we don’t have to talk too much. We just get the orders sorted. On hot days, we keep the door propped open to get a breeze. You can hear the school kids walking home in the afternoon. We have a small corner for our personal things and a place to sit when we take a break. It’s a quiet, focused environment most of the time. We aren’t interested in being the biggest or loudest place in Rve Nagar. We just want to do our daily work and make sure the clothes are ready when they need to be. It’s a steady life and we’re happy with that. No one here is looking for anything too complicated beyond a good day's work.
