Machines And Engineering Company

Our shop is Machines And Engineering Company, located at 385 Sanganoor Main Road in Rathinapuri. We are right near the 7th Street and the railway gate. If the gate is closed for a train, you might have to wait a bit to reach us. It’s a busy part of Coimbatore with a lot of small workshops and engineering units all around. We have been here for a long time, working on different types of machinery and parts. The shop floor is usually a bit messy with metal scraps and oil, but that's just the nature of engineering. We have a few lathes and some older machines that still run perfectly. We don’t really have a big reception area or anything. People just walk in through the main door and find us at the back. We spend a lot of our time fixing things or making small parts that people can't find elsewhere. It’s noisy work with the grinding and the clanking, but we like the pace of it. The staff is just a few local guys who know their way around an engine. We usually take a break in the afternoon when it gets too hot. It’s an honest way to make a living. We don’t put on any acts. We just look at the problem and try to find a way to build or fix whatever is needed. It’s a simple workshop, really. Nothing more to it.
