Limra Steel Traders

We spend most of our time here at Ginnur, just right across from Parimallam School. You can usually hear the kids playing during recess while we are moving heavy metal around the yard. It gets pretty loud sometimes. Limra Steel Traders has been in this spot for a while now. We keep a lot of different steel pieces here, mostly for local builders or people who are just fixing up their own houses. It’s a dusty job, and my hands are usually covered in some kind of rust or grease by lunch. We start early, usually before the school bells even start ringing. The traffic on the road gets heavy in the mornings, so we try to get the trucks unloaded fast. Some days are slow, and we just sit around talking about what needs to be moved next. Other days, we don't even have time to drink tea. We have all sorts of bars and sheets stacked up. It isn't a fancy office or anything, just a practical space where we get the work done. People know where we are because of the school. If you miss the school, you probably went too far down the road. We just try to keep enough stock so that when someone shows up needing a specific size, we actually have it lying around somewhere in the back. It’s a simple way to make a living, honestly. Most people just walk in and ask what we have in the yard.
