Our place, Lakshmigraha Apparels Pvt. Ltd., is located right by the Lpt Bus Stop. We are on the stretch of road that goes from Arasur to Avanashi, right along National Highway No. 47. Being situated on the highway means there is always a lot of dust and noise from all the trucks and buses going past the building. It is a big, practical space that was designed specifically for making clothes. We don’t have a fancy reception area or a polished waiting room. When you walk in, you are pretty much standing right in the middle of where all the work is happening. We have a lot of people working here, mostly local folks from around the Arasur and Avanashi areas. It is often a long day for everyone, and we start early in the morning to try and beat the heat of the afternoon. We don't use any marketing talk because we don't really feel the need to. The work we do speaks for itself. The floors are full of sewing tables and large cutting stations. It is not always perfectly tidy, especially when we are trying to get a big shipment out the door on time. We just try to keep things as organized as we can. Sometimes the commute for the staff can be a bit much because of the highway traffic, but we all manage to get here. We aren't some big city corporation. We are just a local operation.
