You can find Lakshitha Fashion over at 901, Bala Medical Centre in the Ramanathapuram area of Coimbatore. It’s a bit of an unusual spot for a fashion place, being in a medical center building, but it works for us. We have our own corner where we keep all our supplies and the finished items. It’s not a massive space, so we have to keep things pretty tight. We aren't a high-end designer studio with a lot of ego. We’re just regular people who know how to sew and put garments together. Most of our days are spent at the worktable, and we often have some music or the news playing while we stay busy. We don't have any polished marketing materials or a big advertising budget. People usually find out about us because they were already in the building or they live nearby in Ramanathapuram. We handle all the chores ourselves, from cleaning the glass to sorting the buttons. It can get a bit hectic when multiple people come in at once since the space is small, but we manage. We aren't trying to change the world or anything like that. We just enjoy the process of making something and seeing it finished. It’s a practical business, and we try to stay honest about what we can do. If you’re around the medical center, you can just pop in and see what we’re working on. We are usually here until the evening.
