Lakshana Fashions

Lakshana Fashions is over at 16A/40 on 3rd street in Vasantha Nagar. We are based in the Singanallur area, and if you know where Shanthi Gears is, we are just near that. It’s a good landmark to tell people because the street names can get a bit confusing for those who don't live around here. The building is a simple one, and we use most of the space for the machines and the fabric stock. Singanallur is a busy part of town with a lot of industries nearby, so there is always a hum of activity in the air. We usually open up around nine in the morning. The 3rd street stays a bit quieter than the main road, which is good for focusing on the details of the work. We have a small crew here, and everyone knows their job. We don't have a big reception area or anything like that. People just walk in past the work area. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just take a break and sit outside for a bit until it comes back. It is a practical space, mostly filled with the sound of sewing machines and people talking about the latest designs. Being near Shanthi Gears means there are always trucks and people moving about nearby. We’ve settled into this Vasantha Nagar spot quite well over the years.
