Kumar Engineering Works

You can find Kumar Engineering Works at 50 Sidco Industrial Estate on the Pollachi Main Road. We’ve been in Coimbatore for a long time now. This part of Tamil Nadu is well known for its industry, and we are right in the thick of it all. The Sidco estate is always humming with some kind of activity or noise. Our workshop has a high ceiling and plenty of light coming in, which really helps when we are working on those small, fiddly parts. We’ve got a mix of old machines and some newer ones that we’ve picked up over the years. It’s not a corporate environment by any stretch of the imagination. We wear our work clothes and get our hands greasy every single day of the week. The tea man comes around twice a day, and that’s usually when we take a short break to sit and talk. Most of us live quite nearby, so the commute isn't too bad most mornings. We do a lot of local work for other shops in the Coimbatore area. Sometimes it gets a bit stressful when deadlines are tight, but we usually manage to get everything out the door on time. We don't have a receptionist, so if you come by, just walk into the main area and look for one of us. We are usually busy with a machine or moving something heavy around. It's just a regular engineering shop doing regular work for people.
