Knit Habitz Llp is located at No.15/12 on the 1st street of R V E Layout in Thennampalayam. It’s a pretty decent spot for a small knitting business like ours. We aren't a giant corporation with thousands of workers. It’s just a small team of us who know how to handle the machines. Our building is a bit tight, so we have to be very careful about where we put the rolls of finished cloth. Sometimes it feels like we’re surrounded by mountains of fabric. We make various types of knit materials. We didn't have some big plan to become famous or anything. We just wanted a place where we could work for ourselves and do a good job. Most of the people who work here live just a few streets away, so it feels like a family. We spend most of our time watching the needles and making sure nothing gets tangled. If there’s a problem with a machine, we fix it ourselves. We don't have any fancy brochures or a sales department. People just find us because they know we’re here in Thennampalayam. It’s a lot of work and the hours can be long, but we like the independence of it. We just keep our heads down and focus on the machines. It’s a steady life and we’re happy with how things are going in our little corner of the layout. We just keep moving forward one day at a time.
