Sasi Anand Spinning Mills (india) Ltd. (garment Division)

This is the garment division of Sasi Anand Spinning Mills (india) Ltd. We are located out on the Ellappalayam Pethampalayam Road in Karumandisellipalayam. It’s a bit of a drive out to Perundurai, but it’s where we have the space for all our equipment. The mill is a big place, and it gets pretty loud when everything is running at once. We handle the garment side of things here. It’s a lot of coordination between the different sections. I spend a lot of time walking back and forth across the floor. My shoes always have a bit of lint on them by the time I leave. We have a lot of workers from the local villages around here. It’s a good community and we all know each other. We don't really do much in the way of marketing. We just focus on the production and making sure the quality is what it needs to be for the orders. The canteen food is okay, mostly just rice and dal, but it gets us through the day. Sometimes the power goes out and we all have to wait for the generator to kick in. Those are the only quiet moments we get. It’s a large operation, but we try to keep things running smoothly. We’ve been here for a long time and the road outside has seen a lot of trucks over the years. We just keep working and doing our part for the mill.
