Royal Apparel

Royal Apparel is situated out in Karaiyanputhur, specifically in the Kaikalan Thottam area. It’s a bit away from the main city noise, which we actually prefer most days. Here, we deal with clothing and garments. It’s mostly just sewing machines and stacks of cut cloth. We have a small team, and we all know each other pretty well. The building isn't anything special, just a functional space where we can get the sewing done. Some days the power cuts out and we have to wait a bit, but we usually manage to catch up. We don’t do any fancy advertising or anything like that. Most people find us through word of mouth or by just seeing the sign when they drive past the thottam. It can get a bit cluttered inside with all the threads and scrap fabric on the floor, but we sweep up every evening. We aren't trying to be a world-famous brand. We just want to make clothes that people can actually wear without any fuss. The air out here is a bit clearer than in the center of town, which is a plus. We just show up, do the work, and go home. There’s a certain routine to it that feels right. We’ve been in Karaiyanputhur for a long time and don't see ourselves moving anytime soon. It's just a regular garment shop where we do our best with what we have.
