K R Engineering

Down here on Sundarapuram Road in Madukkarai, the days can get quite long. We are located at Bno Sf.27, and it is a typical workshop environment. K R Engineering isn't a place where you'll find people in suits. We are mostly in grease-stained shirts and sturdy boots because the work demands it. The shop is filled with the sound of metal hitting metal and the steady hum of the lathes. We focus on getting the measurements right for whatever part a customer brings in. Sometimes it's a small fix, other times it's a whole day's work on one single piece. Tamil Nadu heat can be tough, so we drink a lot of water and keep the doors wide open. We don't have a big corporate philosophy or anything. We just look at the drawing or the broken part and figure out how to make it work again. There are stacks of raw steel in the back and a few machines that have seen better days but still run perfectly fine. Most of our customers are locals from the post area or people passing through who heard we do decent work. We don't really bother with social media or big advertisements. The work speaks for itself, and usually, that's enough to keep us busy from Monday to Saturday. It's just a regular life of an engineer in a small town.
