Jpr Engineering is located at J Ruban No. 1/1 along Rajiv Gandhi Salai. It’s right there on Nallampalayam Road in the Rathinapuri Po area. The shop is usually a bit noisy because of the machines running most of the day. We have been here for some time now and most of the locals know where the building is. The front gate sometimes gets stuck when it rains heavily, but we manage. Inside, it’s mostly just work benches and the tools we need to get things done. It isn’t a fancy office with air conditioning or anything like that. We just focus on the engineering jobs that come in. Most of our mornings start with a quick check of what needs finishing from the day before. The staff usually gets in early and the tea stall nearby is where we spend our breaks talking about nothing in particular. It’s a busy part of town so there is always traffic passing by the main road. Sometimes it’s hard for the delivery trucks to back in because of how tight the space is, but we've gotten used to it over the years. We don't have a big marketing team or anything. People just find us by word of mouth or by seeing the sign when they drive past Nallampalayam Road. It’s a straightforward setup where we just handle the metal and the machines. We keep things simple and try to finish the work without making too much of a fuss. We usually close up around six and head home to start again tomorrow.
