Jayakumar Machine Works

Jayakumar Machine Works is located at 80-A, Ganapathy Main Road. We are in the Krishnrayapuram area, right near Kamadhenu Nagar. It’s a workshop where we get our hands dirty every single day. We’ve got old machines and some newer ones too. The sound of metal hitting metal is pretty much the background music here. We don't have a big staff. It’s just a few of us who have been doing this for years. We make parts and do repair work for local industries. People just drop by with their problems. We don't have a secretary or a waiting room. You usually find us out on the floor. The heat from the machines makes it warm inside, especially in the afternoons. We’ve been on this road for a long time now. We know most of the people who live and work around here. It’s a steady kind of life. We don't do fancy advertising. Our name is on the board outside and that’s about it. If someone needs something turned or milled, they know where to come. We just try to do a decent job so the customer doesn't have to come back for the same problem twice. It’s just us and the machines and a bit of hard work. We aren't trying to be anything we're not. We just like fixing things and keeping the shop running well.
