Industrial Engineers is located right at 4/619, Veerapandi Pirivu, on the main Palladam Road. It’s a busy spot because of all the traffic moving between the towns. We have a shop that is pretty much dedicated to engineering repairs and small-scale manufacturing. It’s not a large place, so we have to be careful about how we use the floor space. Tools are everywhere, and there’s always a project or two in pieces while we work on them. We don’t have any fancy office staff, so if you call, you’re usually talking to someone who has just put down a wrench. We’ve been at this Veerapandi location for quite a while now. The dust from the road can be a bit of a nuisance, but you get used to it after the first few months. We don't have a polished look or a big showroom. People come to us because they know we can fix things or build what they need. It’s all about the manual labor and the technical side of engineering. We don't spend money on advertising; most of our work comes from people just seeing us on Palladam Road or hearing about us from someone else in the village. It’s a straightforward life and we like the independence of running our own shop. Every day brings something different to the workbench, which keeps things interesting for us.
