Sumathi Apparels

Sumathi Apparels is over at No. 255/30 in Indira Nagar. We are right opposite the Dharapuram Road, which is always busy with trucks and buses passing by all day. Our shop is a place where we make and sell clothes. It’s not a big showroom with fancy lights or expensive displays. It’s more of a workshop where you can hear the sound of sewing machines going from morning until evening. We have rolls of fabric stacked up in the corners and thread of every color you can think of. I spend most of my time either at the cutting table or talking to people about what they want to get made. Being near the GH and the main road means we get a lot of people stopping by while they are out doing other errands. It’s a convenient spot, though the dust from the road can be a bit of a pain to deal with every morning. We have a small group of people working here, and we’ve been at this for a while now. Some days we are working on big orders, and other days it’s just small repairs for people in the neighborhood who know us. We don't have a fancy website or anything like that, most people just know us because they live nearby or saw the sign while driving past Indira Nagar. It’s just a regular local business where we try to keep up with the work as it comes in.
