Imran Steel

Imran Steel is located out on Survey No. 445, along the road that goes from Kannampalayam to Kossappur. We are in Vilankadupakkam, which is a bit out of the way compared to the main city. It’s mostly open land and industrial plots out here. We deal with heavy steel, so the yard is always full of rods, sheets, and pipes. It’s a dirty job, and we’re always covered in grease or rust by the end of the day. We don't have a fancy office; just a small cabin where we keep the books and take calls. The wind blows pretty hard out here and kicks up a lot of dust. We spend most of our time loading and unloading trucks that come in from the main road. It’s not the kind of place where you’d find a marketing department. It’s just me and the workers making sure the steel gets to where it needs to go. We don't use any big words to describe what we do. We just sell steel. If the weather is bad, it makes the work twice as hard, but we still get it done. People find us because they need specific materials for construction, and they know we have the space to keep a big inventory. It’s quiet out here at night, but during the day, it’s all about the sound of metal hitting metal. We just focus on getting the heavy lifting finished before the sun goes down.
