Richwin Apperals

Richwin Apperals is based at No. 2 / 438 in Periyandipalayam, which is part of Iduvampalayam. It’s a bit out of the main city, so it’s a little quieter here, which we mostly appreciate. We have a decent-sized shed where all the work happens. Most of the people working here are from the surrounding villages. We spend our time working with various fabrics and getting clothes ready. It’s a lot of physical work, standing at tables or sitting at machines for long hours. We don’t have a fancy office or air conditioning; we just use the ceiling fans and keep the windows open. The smell of fabric and thread is everywhere. We usually start the day with a small prayer and then get straight to it. There’s a rhythm to the place when all the machines are running at once. We take our breaks under the shade of the trees outside when it gets too hot. It’s a very practical way of working. We don’t bother with much else besides the orders we have to finish. Periyandipalayam is a hardworking area, and we fit right in with the other units around us. We’ve been here at No. 2 / 438 for years now, and the walls show the age of the business. It’s a place where we just get things done.
