Hn Fashions

Hn Fashions is located at 471 Pollachi Road. If you know where the HDFC Bank is, we are right behind it. It is a bit of a squeeze getting back there with the delivery vans, but we make it work. The building is tucked away from the main noise of the road, which is nice. We still hear the horns honking, but it is muffled. Inside, it is a lot of activity. We have tables set up for checking the garments. The lighting is not the best in the back corner, so we moved the sewing machines closer to the windows. Pollachi Road is always busy with traffic heading out of town. We see the bank customers coming and going all day. Sometimes we use their ATM when we need some cash for the tea man. Our workspace is pretty crowded. We have fabric rolls leaning against the walls and boxes stacked up to the ceiling. It is not a showroom. It is a factory. We have a small office with a desk that is usually covered in paper and thread. We do not really have time to keep it tidy. The staff here has been with us for a long time. We know each other’s families. It is that kind of place. We focus on getting the stitching right. If a machine breaks, we spend the afternoon oily and frustrated until it is fixed. That is just how it goes at 471 Pollachi Road.
