Hindushan Fabrication

Hindushan Fabrication is situated at No. 23 Ammaniammal Layout. We are on the 1st Street, right off Dharapuram Road in the Perichipalayam area. It is a local spot and most people who live around Dharapuram Road know where we are. We have been working out of this layout for a while now. The shop is mostly open to the street so we get a lot of air, but also all the noise from the passing vehicles. We do general fabrication which means a lot of welding and grinding. You can hear the hum of the transformer all day. We make things like gates, ladder frames, and small metal stands. It is a lot of manual labor, lifting the steel pipes and making sure the angles are right before we weld them shut. The ground is usually covered in black dust from the grinding wheels. We wear those dark glasses to protect our eyes from the bright welding light. We have a few stools for when we take a break, but mostly we are on our feet working. The neighbors are used to the noise we make. We try to get the jobs done and out the door so we have room for the next one. It is a simple setup with just the basic tools we need to get the metalwork finished. We do not do any big advertising, just the shop here on the street.
