Merri Apparel

Merri Apparel is based at No. 41 Harvey Road. We've been in this building for several years now. It's a decent spot for a garment business because it is easy to find. We mostly handle the production side of things. The floor is usually covered in thread and scraps of cloth by the end of the shift. We clean it up and start again the next morning. Our team is local, and we all live nearby. It makes it easier to get to work on time every day. We don't have a fancy website or a bunch of sales people. Usually, someone calls us up because they heard we do good work on shirts or trousers. We just take down the details and start cutting the material. The light in the workshop is good during the day which helps with the detailed stitching we have to do. We have some old machines that still work better than the new ones we bought last year. It’s a bit noisy when everyone is working at once, but you get used to it after a while. We don't put on any airs here. We're just regular people making clothes. If you come by Harvey Road, you might hear the machines before you see the door. We just try to keep the quality decent and the prices fair for the people who buy from us. That is how we have always run Merri Apparel. It is simple work.
