Gv Steels is tucked away at No. 9 in Chellan Nagar. If you’re familiar with Venkata Nagar, you probably know where that is. It’s a decent area for a business like ours. We mostly deal with steel supplies and whatever people need for their projects. We aren’t a giant corporation with hundreds of employees. It’s just a handful of us here making sure the steel gets to where it needs to go. Sometimes the shop gets a bit dusty, but that’s just the nature of working with metal. We don’t spend much time worrying about how the office looks. As long as the inventory is right and the orders are moving, we’re happy. We’ve been at this Chellan Nagar location for a while now. Customers usually just drop by when they're passing through Venkata Nagar. We don't do much online stuff or big marketing campaigns. Word of mouth seems to work okay for us. It’s a very hands-on kind of place. You might see us loading up a truck or cutting something to size when you arrive. We don't have any scripted lines to tell you. We just talk like regular people because that’s who we are. Some days it’s hectic, other days it’s slow enough to grab an extra tea in the afternoon. We just take it as it comes. The steel business is straightforward, and we try to keep our way of working just as simple as that for everyone involved who comes by the shop.
