Green Trends

You’ll find Green Trends on the first floor of the Majestic Building, number 1327 A, right across from the Suguna Kalyana Mandapam in Peelamedu. It’s a busy spot, especially when there’s a wedding going on across the street. We can hear the music and the crowds from our windows sometimes. The shop itself is set up to handle quite a few people at once. We’ve got mirrors along the walls and the usual chairs you’d expect. It’s not a quiet place. There’s always the sound of hair dryers or people chatting. We don’t have a big corporate manual on how to talk to people. We just act like ourselves. Some of the staff have been here for years and know the regulars by name. We don’t use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. It’s just about getting the work done so people leave looking better than when they walked in. The floor gets swept constantly because of all the hair, but it’s a never-ending job. We have a small area where people can wait, but it fills up fast on weekends. We don’t do a lot of promotion. Most of our customers are from the Peelamedu area and just walk in. It’s a local business through and through. We keep the place clean, the tools ready, and we just take each day as it comes.
