Graveera Metal Indus. is located at Sf No. 543/3A in Chinnamadampalayam, Billichi. It’s a bit of a way out, but it’s a good spot for a metal works. We have plenty of space for the raw materials and the finished goods. We mostly work with different types of metals, cutting and shaping them as needed. It’s a dusty job and the sun can be quite hot out here. We have a small shed where we keep the main machines. Most of our workers have been doing this for a long time. They don't need much direction. They just see the metal and know what to do with it. We don't spend money on fancy signs or advertising. Word of mouth is how we get most of our customers. People in the Billichi area know where we are. We are just a group of people making metal parts. It's not glamorous. There is a lot of heavy lifting and the sound of grinders is everywhere. We try to keep things moving so nobody is waiting too long. We don't have a big office with air conditioning. We are usually out on the floor with everyone else. It’s a practical business. We just take the orders and finish them up at Sf No. 543/3A. That’s the whole story. We started this because we knew how to work with our hands.
