Glassy Garments

Glassy Garments is located at No. 5 in Mgr Nagar. We are on the 8th Street, just off the Pn Road. It’s easy to miss if you are driving fast on the main road, but once you turn into the street, we are right there. The building is a bit older. We’ve painted it a few times, but the walls still show their age and character. Inside, the space is pretty packed with sewing stations and stacks of finished goods ready to go. We try to keep the aisles clear, but it doesn't always stay that way during a busy week. The light comes in through the front door mostly. We have a few big fans to keep the air moving because it gets stuffy with all the machines and bodies in one room. Most of the people working here have lived in this neighborhood their whole lives. We know each other's families and what's going on in the street. It feels more like a house than a big factory sometimes. We don't do much marketing or anything like that. People just know where we are by word of mouth. Sometimes we sit outside on the steps during lunch to get some fresh air. The street can be a bit noisy with kids playing and bikes going by. It’s just a regular part of the neighborhood where we get our work done every day without fail.
