Gk Apparel Sourcing

Being out here at 1221D Palavanchipalayam in Veerapandi means we are a bit away from the main city rush. Gk Apparel Sourcing is mostly about finding the right materials and making sure they get to where they need to go. My desk is usually covered in swatches of fabric and random notebooks filled with phone numbers. Veerapandi Post is a quiet enough area but our phones are usually ringing quite a bit. It’s not a glamorous job at all. We spend a lot of time talking to different suppliers and checking if the fabric is okay. Sometimes the trucks are late or the weather makes things difficult but we just manage. We’ve been at this address for a bit and people around here know us as the ones always worrying about garment shipments. It’s a small team and we all know each other’s business which makes it easy to work together. We don't have any fancy mission statements on the walls or anything like that. We just want to get the sourcing done so everyone is happy at the end of the day. The building is a bit old and the stairs creak but it works for what we do. It’s a simple life out here and we like the pace even when things get a bit hectic with orders. We usually end our day by checking the lists one last time and locking up before it gets too dark.
