Gene Apparels

Gene Apparels is located at 374-A on the 15 Velampalayam Road in Aanupparapalayam Pudur. It’s a bit of a drive out here, but we like the area. The building is just a standard setup where we keep all our sewing machines and rolls of cloth. We’ve been here for a good stretch of time, and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the neighborhood. Aanupparapalayam Pudur is a place where people work hard, and we are no different. Our days usually start early, before the sun gets too hot. We spend most of our time hunched over the fabric, making sure everything is aligned properly. It’s not glamorous work, and there’s always a bit of dust and lint in the air. We don't have a big staff, just a few reliable people who know how to handle the machines. We don't bother with fancy titles or corporate meetings. We just look at what needs to be done and we do it. Sometimes the delivery trucks are late, which throws off our schedule, but we just work a bit later to catch up. It’s a straightforward business. We make the clothes, pack them up, and send them on their way. We’ve been at 374-A for so long that the walls are a bit stained from the years of work, but it feels like home to us. It’s just how we do things here on Velampalayam Road and we plan to stay for a while.
