Gem Metal Industries

Down here at Gem Metal Industries, things are pretty straightforward. Our workshop is located at 566/1-D on Thadagam Road, specifically in the Somayampalayam part of the Kanuvai Post area. It’s a bit out of the main city rush, which actually makes it a lot easier for us to get our work done without too much distraction. We mostly deal with metal stuff, whether it's cutting pieces down to size or helping people figure out what kind of material they need for a specific project. The shop isn't anything special to look at, just a big shed with some heavy machines and a lot of metal stacked up in the corners. We spend most of our mornings unloading trucks and getting the machines warmed up. It gets pretty hot inside during the summer months, but that’s just part of working in this trade. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone answering phones with a script. Usually, it's just one of us picking up the call while trying to hear over the noise of the saws. We’ve been at this for a few years now and have learned a lot about how to handle the different types of steel and iron that come through the door. It’s hard work, and your hands will definitely get dirty if you stay long, but we like the honesty of it. It is just a regular local business doing what it does every day.
