Geetha Blue Metals

We are located over at No: 172 in Pappampatti. If you know where the post office is, we are not very hard to find. We deal in blue metals, which basically means we have lots of crushed stone for things like concrete and road work. It is noisy work with the machinery running all day, but it keeps us busy and the yard is usually full of different sizes of stone piles. We have to get up quite early to start the day because that is when the big trucks start lining up at the gate. It is a lot of lifting and moving stuff around with the shovels and the loaders. We don't have a marketing team or anything like that. We just know the local builders and they know where to find us when they need a load of stone. Sometimes the machines break down and we have to spend the whole afternoon fixing them with grease all over our hands and faces. That is just how it goes in this line of work. Pappampatti is a good place to be based and we see the same faces every week. It is not a glamorous job by any means, but these stones are what everything around here is built on. We keep an eye on the piles to make sure we do not run out when a big construction job starts nearby. Most of our day is spent outside in the grit and the noise. We just keep things simple and focus on the work at hand. No fancy talk, just piles of stone and hard work.
