Geena Garments

This branch of Geena Garments is over at No. 9/116- E, in the Chettiurai Thottam area. Specifically, it’s at No. 2 within that thottam, and we also use the address No. 410 R. K. Nagar in Pichampalayampudur. It can be a little confusing if you aren’t from around here. The area is a bit more tucked away than the main bus stand location. We have a lot of space here for our production. The thottam setting is a bit different, maybe a little more relaxed but still busy with work. We have rows of machines and piles of finished pieces ready to go out. The people working here are mostly from the Pichampalayampudur side of town. We’ve set things up so everything flows from one table to the next. It’s a lot of manual work, moving boxes and checking seams. We don't have any big speeches about what we do. We just make clothes. The building is older, but it serves us well. Sometimes we have to deal with the typical problems like a machine breaking down or a late delivery of thread. We just handle it and keep moving. It is a practical environment where everyone knows their job and does it without a lot of fuss. We've been part of this neighborhood for a while and we know our neighbors well.
