Shree Vinayaga Engineering

Down here at Ganapathy Managar, things are usually pretty loud at Shree Vinayaga Engineering. We are located right in Bharathi Nagar, so there is always some activity on the street. Our workshop is filled with the smell of metal and oil most of the day. We spend most of our time at the lathes or welding bits together. It’s not the cleanest job, and our hands are usually stained by the time lunch rolls around. We handle a lot of different engineering tasks for folks around the Ganapathy area. Sometimes it’s a big order and other times it’s just someone coming in with a broken part that needs a quick fix. We don't have a big fancy office with air conditioning. Instead, we have a small desk tucked in the corner where the paperwork sits under a heavy paperweight so it doesn't blow away when the fans are on. The shop floor is where all the real work happens anyway. We’ve got a few machines that have been with us since the start. They’re old but they run smooth if you know how to handle them. People around here know us as the place that just gets the job done. We don't talk much while we're working because of the noise, but we get the measurements right. It’s a simple life of grinding, cutting, and fitting things together until they work again. That's just what we do every day and we stay busy with it.
