Gallant Apparels

We set up Gallant Apparels over in Kumaran Nagar. Ganeshapuram is a busy area, and we’re right in the middle of it. It’s not a fancy part of town, but it’s where we live and work. The building we’re in is pretty old. We have several rows of machines and a big cutting table in the back. Most days it’s quite noisy with the sewing going on. We make different kinds of garments depending on what’s needed. I’ve been working in clothes for twenty years, and finally decided to open this place with some friends. We don't have a front desk or a receptionist. If you walk in, you'll probably just see me or one of the guys working on a pile of fabric. The floor is usually covered in thread scraps by the end of the day. We try to clean it every evening. There’s a small window that looks out onto the street, but it’s usually blocked by boxes. We don't have a website or any fancy brochures. If someone wants to talk to us, they just show up at the door. It’s a bit chaotic sometimes, especially when a big order is due, but we get the work done. We drink a lot of coffee from the shop around the corner. That’s basically how we run things here in Ganeshapuram. It’s honest work and it keeps us going.
