Fashion Port

Down here at 18, Ellora Garden in Periya Thottam, things move at their own pace. We are located near Pudhur Pirivu on the Dharapuram Road. It’s a bit away from the main city rush, which is nice. Fashion Port is where we do all our garment work. It started out with just a few of us. Now we have a decent number of people from the local area working here. The building isn't anything special to look at, just a practical space for manufacturing. We have rows of machines and a big area for packing. The weather gets really hot here, so the fans are always going full blast. Sometimes we have issues with the water or the heat, but we just deal with it. We handle a lot of cotton goods because that's what everyone wants. You can see the trucks coming in and out of the yard all day. We spend a lot of time checking the fabric for holes or stains before we start cutting. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but we take it seriously. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there, just trying to keep the machines busy. Most of our workers live nearby, so it feels like a neighborhood spot. We just focus on the daily tasks and try to get the bundles ready for the transport.
