Fashion Fox

Fashion Fox is up on the 2nd floor of the Periyanayahi Towers in Gandhi Nagar. If you are looking for No. 9, you have to take the stairs or the lift if it's working that day. We've been in this building for some time. It's not a huge space, but we have enough room for the desks and the stock we keep. Gandhi Nagar stays pretty busy, so there is always noise from the street coming through the windows. Sometimes it gets a bit hot in the afternoons, but we just keep the fans running. We aren't trying to be some big corporate entity; we are just a few people working on clothes and orders. The sign outside Periyanayahi Towers is a bit faded now, but people still find their way to us. We mostly deal with the day-to-day stuff, packing things up and making sure the counts are right. It’s a lot of manual work, checking labels and folding things properly. We don't have a lot of fancy decorations. The walls are mostly covered with calendars and notes we’ve scribbled to ourselves. Most of the staff comes from around the Gandhi Nagar area, so we all know the local spots for lunch. It is just a regular workplace where we try to get things done without too much fuss. Being on the second floor gives us a bit of a view of the street, which is nice when we take a break. We stay until the light fades and then head home.
