Fashion Flair Apparels

You can find us over at No. 50 N. G. R. Colony Narendara Deva Street Uppilipalayam Post. Fashion Flair Apparels is just a regular shop where we do things our own way. We moved into this space a while back and it’s been a learning process. The floor is made of old tiles that have seen better days, but they’re easy to sweep. We deal with all sorts of garments. Some of it is made nearby, and some comes from further away. The delivery trucks often struggle to find the exact street since the colony layout is a bit confusing to outsiders. We spend our mornings checking the stock against the lists we make by hand. It’s not a high-tech operation. Most of our work is done with a pen and a notebook. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoons, so we just leave the door open for the light. It gets a bit dusty but that's life in the colony. We know most of the people who come in by their first names. They come to us because they know we’re not trying to be something we’re not. The clothes are decent, they last a good while, and they fit okay. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who take turns minding the counter and going for lunch. It’s a steady rhythm that suits us well enough.
