Fabtex Engineering Works

Fabtex Engineering Works is located at 7-Sri Ramnagar, right across from Mani's Theatre in Peelamedu. It’s a landmark everyone around here knows. Being near the theatre means there's always some life on the street, which is nice. Our workshop is where we spend the bulk of our time. It’s filled with the usual engineering stuff like drills, saws, and welding tanks. We do a lot of custom fabrication work. Most of the time it’s for local businesses or people who need a specific part they can’t find anywhere else. It’s not always easy work, and sometimes things don't go exactly to plan on the first try, but we stick with it until it’s right. We aren't a massive factory with thousands of employees. It’s just a small crew of us. We know each other's families and we help each other out when things get busy. The shop floor is a bit uneven and the roof leaks a tiny bit when it rains really hard, but it doesn't stop us from getting the jobs out. People know they can find us here six days a week. We like being part of the Peelamedu community. It’s home for us, and we plan on being at this spot for a long time to come. It’s just honest engineering work done by people who actually care about the metal they are cutting.
