Espee Engineering Works

Espee Engineering Works is located at No. 32, Shanti Nagar in Korattur. Our workshop isn't much to look at from the outside. It’s basically a big shed with a lot of heavy machinery inside. There is always the sound of metal being cut or welded, and the floor is usually covered in iron filings. Shanti Nagar is a mix of houses and small workshops like ours. We’ve been here for many years, and we’ve seen the area change quite a bit. We don't have a dedicated office space; we just have a small desk in the corner where we keep the bills and the phone. Most of the time we are out on the shop floor working on whatever project has come in. We do a lot of repair work and custom fabrication. People bring us things that are broken and ask if we can make them work again. It’s dirty, loud work, but there’s a certain satisfaction in fixing a piece of machinery that was supposed to be scrapped. We don't have a website or any promotional brochures. Word gets around in the local community if you do a decent job for a fair price. The summer heat makes the workshop feel like an oven sometimes, but we just keep the fans going and carry on. We are just a bunch of guys who know how to work with our hands and we plan to keep doing that for the long term.
