Durai Engineering Products

Durai Engineering Products is situated at 1143, Mettupalayam Road. This is a very busy part of the city, and there is always a lot of traffic and noise outside our doors. Our building is a simple structure that houses all the heavy parts and tools we deal with. Inside, the air usually smells like iron and machine oil. We have racks and shelves filled with various engineering supplies. It is not the kind of place where you will find fancy decorations or comfortable sofas. We have a few old wooden desks and some stools for when we need to sit down and write out an invoice. The floor is made of hard concrete and it has seen a lot of wear over the years. We spend a lot of our time moving heavy boxes or helping customers find exactly the right size of bolt or metal fitting. It is a family-run operation, and we don't really use corporate language or have big meetings. We just show up, open the shutters, and get to work. Mettupalayam Road can be a difficult place to navigate during rush hour, so we are used to the sound of horns and the smell of exhaust fumes. We just keep our heads down and focus on the inventory. It is honest, physical work that keeps us busy from morning until late in the afternoon when we finally lock up and head home for the day.
