Dharani Engineering & Co

We are based at number 22, near the Palanisamy Dying area on Dharapuram Road. This part of K Chettipalayam is always busy, especially with all the textile work going on around Manikandan Nagar. Our shop is a bit of a mix of things. We handle engineering repairs and make small parts that the local businesses need. It’s a practical space, not something you’d find in a magazine. We have tools hanging on the walls and piles of scrap metal in the back that we might need later. The road outside is usually loud with motorcycles and lorries passing by. Inside, we are usually focused on whatever is on the bench that day. Sometimes it's a shaft that needs turning or a bracket that needs welding. We do not have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy brochures. If you come by, you’ll just see us working. We’ve learned over the years that things do not always go as planned, so we spend a lot of time fixing mistakes or figuring out better ways to put things together. My hands are always rough from the work, and the shop is never as clean as I’d like it to be, but we get the jobs finished. We just try to be honest about how long things will take and what they will cost. It is a simple way to run a business.
