Covai Steels & Cements

We are set up at 9/58 on Amravati Park Road, right off the Erode Main Road in Ramakrishnapuram. Covai Steels & Cements is basically a supply hub for this local area. You will see plenty of iron rods and cement bags whenever you stop by to see us. The yard is usually quite active with people coming and going. We do not have much of a storefront, it is more about the storage and the loading bay in the back. The heat in Erode can be tough, so we take breaks in the shade when we can find some. Working with steel is heavy business and we have all got the callouses to prove how hard we work. We do not do any big advertising or radio spots. Most of our customers are people we have known for years or their family members. Sometimes the delivery schedules get messed up because of the heavy traffic on the main road, but we try to manage as best as we can. The paperwork is mostly hand-written notes and old ledgers that we keep in the desk. It works for us and keeps things simple. We are not trying to be the biggest company around, just a reliable place where people can get their supplies without any fuss. Usually, there is a small radio playing some songs in the background. It is a routine that we have grown used to over time.
