We are set up at No.694/1 on Madukkarai Road. If you know the area, you know it’s a main artery with lots of movement. Our workshop is where we spend the bulk of our time, working on conveyor systems and various engineering bits. It’s not the quietest place to work, especially when we are testing out a new belt or motor, but we enjoy the hum of the machines. The floor is concrete and usually has some markings on it from where we’ve been lining up heavy parts. We don't have a showroom or a glossy brochure to give people. Usually, customers just come by and we walk them through what we are currently building on the shop floor. The air usually smells like grease and cold metal, which is how an engineering shop should be. We’ve got a few old fans that try their best to keep the place cool, but in the middle of the day, it still gets pretty hot. Our team is a bunch of practical folks who grew up around machinery. We don't use big words or try to impress anyone with talk; we just show them what we’ve built. The Madukkarai Road location is handy for getting supplies in and out quickly. We’ve been in this spot for a while and have seen the road change quite a bit, but our work remains pretty much the same day in and day out.
