We are located at A - 1 in the Elango Nager Housing Unit, right by the Civil Aerodrome. It’s a busy little area, and you can hear the planes taking off if you listen closely. Most days start with a cup of tea before we get the machines running. We’ve been doing this for a bit now, just handling different types of clothing and fabrics that come through the door. The space is a bit cramped with all the boxes, but it works for us. We don’t have a big sign or anything, just the address that most locals seem to find okay. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, which is a bit of a pain, but we just wait it out. There’s a small window that looks out toward the post office area. We usually have a lot of scrap fabric lying around on the floor by noon. My cousin helps out when things get really busy during the wedding season or festivals. It’s a regular job, nothing too complicated. We just focus on getting the stitching right and making sure the orders don't pile up too high on the tables. It gets dusty, but that’s just how it is when you’re working with textiles all day long. Most of the people who come by are regulars from around the neighborhood who know where we sit. It’s a simple life here in the housing unit.
