Vel Engineering Company

At Vel Engineering Company, we spend our days at No. 393/3 on 3rd Street. We are located in Nehru Nagar West, which is pretty close to the Civil Aerodrome. You can often hear the planes nearby, which is just part of the atmosphere here. The workshop is a busy place filled with various machines and metal parts. It isn't a clean or quiet environment, but that is how engineering goes. We have been at this address for several years now, and the walls are stained with oil and grease from all the work we have done. Most of our day involves standing over a machine or measuring out materials for a specific project. We don't have a fancy office or a place for guests to sit. Usually, if someone comes by, they just stand on the shop floor and talk to us while we work. The neighborhood is mostly other small industries and workshops, so we all understand the noise. We started this company with just a couple of tools and have slowly added more over time. We don't have a big corporate structure; it is just a small crew of us who know how to handle the equipment. We focus on getting the measurements right and making sure the parts fit. It is hard work and the days can be long, but there is a certain satisfaction in finishing a difficult job. We just keep our heads down and get the engineering done for our customers.
