O. K. V. Steels is located at 86 Indhu Ma Nagar in the Cheran Ma Nagar area. If you come by our place, you’ll see a lot of heavy metal and hear the sound of steel being moved around. It’s a noisy business and we are usually covered in a bit of grit by the end of the day. Our yard is where we keep all the stock, and it takes a lot of work to keep everything organized so we can find what we need. We aren't a polished office; we are a steel yard through and through. The neighbors in Indhu Ma Nagar are used to the trucks coming in to load up. We’ve been doing this for a long time and we understand the material we work with. There’s no fancy talk here, just talk about weights, lengths, and types of steel. It’s physical work that requires a bit of muscle and a lot of patience. Sometimes the weather makes it hard to work outside, but we manage to get things done anyway. We don't have a big team or a lot of layers of management. It’s just us handling the orders and making sure the steel gets where it needs to go. We stay busy and we like the honest nature of the trade.
