Cameo Garments India Private Limited is situated at Sf No. 17/5 in the Sakthi Rice Mill Compound. We are on Mangalam Road, right across from Kumaran College. It is an easy landmark to find. Being in a rice mill compound means there is a lot of space, but it also means it is quite an industrial setting. You can see the college students walking by every morning while we are starting our shift. The compound is big and sometimes it gets a bit dusty when the wind picks up. Inside our part of the building, it is all about the garments. We have rows of machines and piles of fabric everywhere. It is not a silent office; there is always the sound of stitching or someone calling out across the floor. We have been here for a while now. The walls are a bit stained from the rain, and the ceiling fans hum constantly to keep the air moving. We do not have a big sign out front, just the address and the name. Most people around here know where the Sakthi Rice Mill is anyway. It is an honest day of work for everyone here. We are not doing anything flashy. We just focus on the clothes and making sure everything is stitched up right before it leaves the compound. It is a simple life on Mangalam Road and we just keep our heads down.
