C K D Blue Metals

We are located right on 6, Pillayar Kovil Street in Rangapuram. If you know where Hotel Grand Krishna is, we are just a short walk from there. Most days it’s pretty busy around here with trucks coming and going at all hours. We started this place because there was a need for blue metals in this part of town and we had the space for it. The yard is usually full of different sizes of stone and aggregate. It gets a bit dusty when the wind picks up, but that’s just how it is with this kind of work. People know the Pillayar temple nearby so it’s easy to find us even without a big sign. We don’t have a big fancy office or anything like that. Just a small room where we keep the papers and a few chairs for when someone stops by to talk about a load. The guys spend most of their time outside working. Sometimes we grab tea from the shop down the road when things quiet down in the afternoon. It is a straightforward operation. We just focus on getting the material loaded and sent out to the sites where it is needed today. The street can get narrow sometimes so we have to be careful with the bigger lorries turning the corner. We have been at this spot for a while now and most of the locals know our faces. It is not a complicated business, just moving stones and keeping things moving.
