Vivin Fashions

You can find Vivin Fashions right across from Balasubramania Mills. We are at No. 5- D in Bharathi Nagar- 1. It is a quiet enough spot most of the time, though the mills across the way keep things feeling lively. The shop isn't anything too big or flashy. We have our racks and our cutting tables where most of the work happens. Sometimes the thread gets tangled up or we run out of a specific color, and someone has to run out and find more. That’s just how it goes here. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we haven't really gotten around to it because we’re usually too busy with the orders. We have a couple of chairs for visitors, but they usually end up holding bags or rolls of material instead. The floor is made of that old tile that stays cool even when it’s hot outside, which is nice in the summer months. Most of us live nearby, so it’s a short walk to get here in the morning. We usually start the day with a quick sweep of the front area and then get right into the sewing and packing. It’s a steady pace, nothing too frantic, but we stay occupied. People in the neighborhood know us as the place near the mills. We’ve been at this address for a good while and don't plan on moving. It’s a solid place to work every day.
